1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Juno AI ("Juno", "we", "us") governing your use of the Juno mobile app, the website at junoai.app, and any related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area) to use Juno, and you must be old enough in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at privacy@junoai.app if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the mobile app.

4. Subscription, billing, and free trial

4.1 Apple In-App Purchase (iOS)

If you subscribe through the Juno iOS app, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price you originally agreed to. You can manage and cancel your subscription by going to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4.2 Stripe (website)

If you subscribe through the Juno website, payment is processed by Stripe and charged to the card or method you provide. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel from your account page or by contacting us. We will email you before any change in price for an existing subscription.

4.3 Free trial

If you are eligible, Juno may offer a free trial period. We will charge you the subscription price at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. We reserve the right to limit free trials to one per person (enforced through cryptographic fingerprints described in our Privacy Policy).

4.4 Refunds

Apple processes refunds for App Store purchases. Use Apple's "Report a Problem" flow at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Stripe purchases, contact privacy@junoai.app within 7 days of the charge if you have not used the Service in that period; we may issue a refund at our discretion. Statutory consumer rights (for example, the EU 14-day withdrawal right) are not affected by this section.

5. AI-generated content

Juno's briefings are generated by artificial intelligence. We use third-party AI models (named on our AI Disclosures page) to write the text and produce the audio of your briefing.

AI-generated content can be inaccurate, outdated, biased, or misleading, even when the source articles it cites are correct. Do not rely on a Juno briefing for medical, legal, financial, or other consequential decisions without verifying the underlying information yourself. The headlines, summaries, and recommendations in a briefing are editorial output, not professional advice.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to listen to and use the briefings we generate for you, for your personal, non-commercial use.

6. Phone calls

When you give Juno your phone number and pick a schedule, you authorize us to place automated voice calls to that number on the days and at the times you select. The call plays a pre-generated audio file; nothing you say is recorded or transmitted. You can stop the calls at any time by removing your phone number, reducing your scheduled days to zero, or deleting your account.

Standard call charges from your carrier may apply, particularly if you are roaming internationally.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or to harm, harass, or impersonate another person.
• Provide a phone number you do not own, or attempt to schedule calls to numbers other than your own.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise circumvent the Service's technical limits, rate limits, or access controls.
• Use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or sexually explicit, or that infringes intellectual property.
• Share your account, sell your account, or otherwise let others use your subscription.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of this section.

8. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service and all content other than user-generated inputs and the briefings produced for you. Our trademarks may not be used without permission. You retain the rights to the inputs you provide; you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use those inputs for the limited purpose of operating the Service for you (including transmitting them to the AI providers we use).

9. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that briefings are accurate, timely, or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Juno will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, goodwill, or data, even if we were advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amount you paid Juno in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations above; in those jurisdictions the limits apply only to the maximum extent permitted.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms or for legal, security, or operational reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, dispute resolution) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes we will notify you in-app or by email and give you a reasonable opportunity to review them. Your continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective is acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

14. Additional terms for Apple App Store

If you obtained the Juno app from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:

• These Terms are between you and Juno only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance and support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you. Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
